College football fans have been using the chant “F*** Joe Biden” in stadiums for years. It’s a tradition that has continued this season, but could it continue to grow?
The college football chants is a trend that started during the 2016-2017 season. It has continued throughout the 2017-2018 season and could continue into week 3 of the 2018-2019 season.
The “F*** Joe Biden” chanting trend in college football may continue into Week 3 of the season.
Fans have been serenading the Commander-in-Chief with some pretty fiery chants during the first two weeks of the college football season. “F— Joe Biden” has a particular ring to it. It sounds good on the tongue, and when you’re trying to make a point, brevity is the essence of wit.
What might have been a week-old phenomena was reignited by the nation’s top doctor, Anthony Fauci, who said, “No, I don’t believe it’s sensible,” in response to loud shouts from some of the country’s most prestigious institutions (stadium capacity-wise).
The spine-tingling audience at Lane Stadium joining in with the adopted team fight song, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” was the obvious highlight of Week One. As the rowdy performance registered on the Richter Scale, thousands of frat guys and sorority girls jumped along with the metal classic!

When the game started, the supporters’ sense of togetherness returned, and they unleashed a far less flattering show of violence. What might have been a one-time event rapidly spread to Coastal Carolina, Texas A&M, and Auburn campuses.

What might be the purpose of this chant? As some dumb commenters who also believed the Rolling Stone story that Oklahomans were overdosing on horse de-wormer pointed out, they’re from the South. After all, they are universities. Every institution is extremely left-leaning on every measure. In reality, Virginia Tech has a full vaccination requirement for all students, so to claim it’s in protest of that is, at the very least, incorrect. Do these college-aged students watch the indiscriminate devastation in the Middle East, which has been going on for as long as they can remember, turn into a shambling catastrophe apparently overnight and feel compelled to make a statement?
Another cry of “FUCK JOE BIDEN” was heard during the Virginia Tech game.

In all honesty, it’s probably a simple chant to… well, chant. It’s the kids’ rebellious nature, being separated from their families for the first time in 18 months, and they’re taking it all out on the President. When week three begins on Thursday, we’ll see whether this cry has the staying power of “Na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, farewell!” or the shelf life of the “Dirty Bird.”
The michelle williams national anthem nfl is a trend that has been present for the last few weeks. It started with Colin Kaepernick, but it could continue into week 3 of the season.
