Nazeebo, the Hearthstone-exclusive Murloc-themed card, came out practically at the same time that the new expansion was released, but it didn’t get the same fanfare as some other cards. For one, its effect is quite underwhelming, so it’s not likely to see much play in top-tier decks. Even so, there are some interesting possibilities for future card design, so I’m interested in seeing how Blizzard handles this case.
For years, gamers have been clamoring for Blizzard to release a third person action game in the Diablo franchise. Then, just before Blizzcon 2015, Blizzard announced the upcoming release of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. It seems to be a no brainer that this new game would pit players against the demonic forces of the Burning Hells. But who thought that the major difference between Diablo 3 and Heroes of Warcraft would be that the latter would be a third person action game.
This is Nazeebo, the Hunter! I’m just. . .surprised. . . that this is the greatest talent on the team.
The article’s substance
Now that the Nazeebo reforms have sunk in, I believe we can take a closer look at what they accomplished, where they failed, and what chances they lost.
New Functions
Nazeebo’s kit had a lot of undiscovered aspects that were addressed in these modifications, which helped to expand the depth of his kit.
- Duration of the spider
- Alternatives to obtaining Voodoo Ritual
- Stacks of Voodoo Rituals as a Resource
- Gargantua’s Stomp ability has been changed.
- Giving people the ability to heal themselves and reduce their harm.
- A different method of summoning spiders
- Defending late in the game
Nazeebo was last reworked in 2016, when he was one of the first heroes to be updated after the Beta ended. The modifications at the time drove him permanently into PvE/late game and created several obstacles for his PvP. These adjustments help elevate some of his blocks while also making his performance more consistent.
Keeping the changes in check
Spiders have taken the place of the banelings. They aren’t nearly as broken as Zag, but the spider builds Nazeebo’s reins. Overall, the spiders are much more capable of causing harm than they were before. We’ve introduced a slow mode, increased the length, guaranteed more spiders, and increased the spider CDR.
- Widowmakers: To begin with, reduce the slow to 20%. This isn’t the most serious problem, but it’s the simplest to solve.
- Spider Colony: I think Spider Colony was the most significant fault in the modifications. I’d even argue that its presence is suffocating to the skill tree as a whole, since once one talent grants CDR to all abilities, it restricts CDR from being used elsewhere. All builds are now being funneled towards it by the talent.
CDR may be utilized to assist influence the other builds by removing the talent. Hexed Crawlers and Guardian Toads are two PvP defensive skills that have traditionally suffered owing to the greater utility of generalist defensive talents. Giving these abilities CDR would make them more valuable and solidify their position in prospective builds.
- Hexed Crawlers: Hitting an enemy Hero with the jar for 3 seconds lowers the cooldown of Corpse Spiders. When Corpse Spiders strike an enemy Hero, they restore 1% of your maximum health and mana.
- Plague of Toads: Hitting an enemy Hero with Guardian Toads lowers the cooldown by 1 second and grants 30 Armor for 2 seconds, stacking up to 6 seconds.
Suggestions with a broader scope
These adjustments won’t have much of an effect until Nazeebo is struck with the nerf bat. While the general health of the spider was excellent, there were still several significant flaws.
- Toads’ Plague: The ability to grow with hops should be standard. Even if it’s only the explosion area, it would go a long way in making the ability more apparent and powerful in the absence of skills.
- Ice Block: For what it does, it will continue to be a dominant choice. Creating a late-game survival option in Bad Medicine is a nice attempt, but it won’t make a difference for a few reasons.
- Vile Infection: It needs to be nerfed since it is still too powerful. The impact of Voodoo Ritual on Heroes should be seen as a standard reward. This will assist with the first shock of the current Vile Infection as well as provide a more smooth transition towards mid-game PvP. The damage to Voodoo Ritual should then be nerfed to a 100% increase.
- Harvesting the Soul: I’m going to repeat the suggestion that it should use Voodoo Ritual. It would be a fascinating feature, in my opinion.
Developing New Talents
- Infested Toads (lvl 16): When a toad strikes an opponent, a corpse spider is spawned. Spider Colony is no longer available.
- Haunt (level 20): Reduce the cooldown of Zombie Wall by 5 seconds, and for 1.5 seconds, enemy heroes within are Feared. Bad Medicine Is Replaced
- Active Spirit Vessel (lvl 7) to get protection and the ability to travel past troops and Zombie Wall for up to 3 seconds. This effect stops early if you take more than 15% of your maximum health in damage while active. Obtain 7 stacks of Voodoo Ritual to recharge Spirit Vessel. Ice Block is no longer necessary.

Nazeebo’s views
Hello. To express my emotions for Naz, I’d want to tell you a tale. I was learning the game and playing the free heroes when I first began playing (before 2.0), but then 2.0 came around and I received 1/3 of all the characters for free. I tried a few before coming upon Nazeebo…

“Hit the Road” alluded to heroes.
Because to the nature of this assignment, one must scrounge for supplies. Weapons and traps may both be discovered laying about (with benefits, thank goodness), but only traps can be created; weapons of your own design cannot. Floop
HOTS should also include some Hearthstone originals into the game. Floop has the potential to be a fantastic addition. Floop Passive – Flobbidinous – When Floop takes fatal damage, he divides into five bloblets that try to reassemble over the course of four seconds. Enemy heroes may kill bloblets by stepping on them. Killing all bloblets is a death sentence…
